We are delighted to invite you to two international AP events held in Prague, Czech Republic, on April 23 and 24, 2026.
Both events will take place in the beautiful historic setting of the Strahov Monastery in Prague, Czech Republic, and are hosted in cooperation with the European Association of AP Schools (EAAPS), the College Board, the Center for Talented Minds (CTM), and Sunny Canadian International School.

AP & SAT Symposium | April 23, 2026 - Your gateway to AP & SAT insights
The AP Symposium focuses on AP and SAT recognition and best practices.
It brings together universities, faculties, high school principals, educators, state administration representatives, organizations supporting gifted students, recruitment leaders, school administrators, and counselors from Europe and beyond to expand understanding of the AP Program, recognition trends, best practices, and its benefits.
The AP Symposium will host international speakers. You will have the opportunity to meet Jaroslav Miller (Czech Republic), Chairman of the National Accreditation HED Committee; Paul Sanders (USA), International Director, College Board; Scott Smith (USA), HED Director, College Board; together with inspiring educators and students.
AP Symposium topics include:
- Understanding AP as a college-level academic program for motivated high school students: AP syllabus development, exam evaluation processes, AP scoring, digital testing, and security measures
- AP recognition trends and practices
- Understanding the SAT and its recognition trends
- Upcoming College Board AP offerings
- The Czech Republic’s unique experience: from point zero to 1,000 students – international education for students from state high schools; AP as a program for future teachers

European AP Schools Summit | April 24, 2026 - Join a growing European community of AP schools!
The European AP Schools Summit is a long-awaited, founding gathering dedicated to networking, mutual inspiration, leadership, and academic excellence.
This summit brings together school leaders, AP coordinators, and educators from across Europe for the first Europe-wide gathering of the European Association of AP Schools (EAAPS) — a founding moment dedicated to building and growing a collaborative community of AP schools committed to moving forward together, sharing experience, and strengthening the future of AP education across Europe. Participants will also have the opportunity to join the EAAPS Board and actively shape the direction of this emerging network.
In addition to opening remarks from the founding members of the Association, participants can look forward to keynote contributions from distinguished international leaders in education, including Frederico Silva (Netherlands), Head of Higher Education Services at the Council of International Schools; Paul Sanders (USA), Executive Director, College Board; and Denise Lamarche, Director of Academics, St. Michaels University School (Canada), along with other inspiring speakers.

Practical Information – both events
- Participation in both events is free of charge, including coffee breaks and lunch on both days.
- On April 24, you are cordially invited to a closing networking dinner, which requires prior registration and a separate paid ticket.
- Please note that capacity is limited to 200 participants; early registration is recommended. The event flyer is attached for more details.
- Dress code: smart casual
- Language: English, with simultaneous English–Czech translation
- Accommodation: Very close to the conference venue is the beautiful Hotel Questenberg (connected to the Strahov Monastery). They have offered us a special reservation code: CTM26. More information at www.questenberg.cz
