Start with Science A is a brand new online course by CTM which will guide you on your fantastic journey through the fascinating world of natural sciences.  In the first module of Start with Science A, you will your journey with perhaps the most universal science and explore the secrets of mathematics. You’ll surely use this knowledge in the second module which focuses on physics! Finally, the third module will teach how to “speak” the language of computers. So, are you ready to join us?

Svět je plný fascinujících úkazů, které vědci dokáží přesně vysvětlit. Chceš také lépe poznat, jak svět funguje? Vydej se s námi na cestu do světa přírodních věd. V kurzu Start with Science A se budeš věnovat třem základním oborům – matematice, fyzice a informatice. 

V matematice se naučíš důležité odborné pojmy z tohoto nejuniverzálnějšího vědeckého oboru a naučíš se počítat třeba s absolutní hodnotou. Ve fyzikální části se dozvíš, jak vzniká blesk, proč je banán žlutý nebo jak se orientují v prostoru netopýři. V informatice ti vysvětlíme, jak funguje internet a vyzkoušíš si základy programování. 

V průběhu kurzu ti bude k dispozici zkušený instruktor, jenž ti může pomoci a povzbudit tě, když si nebudeš vědět rady. 

Na rozdíl od školy ti přesný rozvrh neurčíme, bude jen na tobě, kdy se budeš učení věnovat. Ale termíny odevzdání úkolů či kvízů ti přeci jenom určíme, abys v klidu kurz dodělal. 

V kurzu budeš číst zajímavé texty, koukat na videa, luštit křížovky, řešit kvízy a také si vyzkoušíš pár experimentů. Vše bude v angličtině, ale neboj se, kurz je připravený právě pro studenty začínající se studiem v angličtině.
